KEEP BUYING FAIRTRADE

The FAIRTRADE mark shown on the right of this “News” post (below Quick Links) means that 100 percent of the ingredients have been sourced as Fairtrade, like coffee or bananas.

Many shops, stores and supermarkets such as Sainsbury’s, Marks and Spencer and Co-op sell Fairtrade items or items with a mixture of ingredients including Fairtrade.  In such cases the FAIRTRADE mark is shown with an arrow.  Examples are Co-op ice cream and M&S Strawberry jam. It still means that the Fairtrade farmers got a better deal.

So please keep buying FAIRTRADE.
