Fair trade relates to all of these themes. Part of the FAIRTRADE certification of a product ensures that it is produced sustainably. The FAIRTRADE premium supports the communities of farmers and other producers in such a way that they can live with minimal impact on nature. Many FAIRTRADE or fairly traded products can be valuable for our own quality of life at home. One example is oil from sustainably grown plants such as sustainable palm oil and Fairtrade olive oil.
